About Me

How do you sum up a person in a "About me" section?  I feel like I'm writing my blurb for the yearbook all over again.  I'm loud, overly social, fiercely loyal, and highly dramatic.  Regular coke, spaghetti, trashy historical romance novels, Disney, shopping, and sewing are a few of my favorite things.  I'll take a pretty purse over pretty shoes, and more often than not I think puppies are cuter than babies.

I grew up in a big loving family who always taught me the value of my opinion and to speak my mind.  I attended a small college where the most valuable part of your education is the friends you make, and they are my sisters.

A few years ago when I least expected it, I meet my husband, Rudy, and he is the peanut butter to my fluff.  He takes my crazy ideas in stride and never fails to make me laugh.

Shortly after our wedding we got the surprise of a lifetime when we found out we were expecting our first child.  While I was convinced I was having a girl, our BOY Rowen proved me wrong, and we are as happy as can be with our sweet little boy!

 I would be remise if I didn't mention Jack and Lola, our beloved golden retrievers.

This blog captures this season of our life as I try to navigate my life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and  career woman.  It may not always be exciting but it's our life and I hope you like what you see, stick around, and enjoy the ride!
